I think your right, but Cna you blame the guy? I mean he just fought a vicious trilogy with Marquez, I mean WHy he would want to face a youger, faster, bigger guy?
Dude, can go get his title at 126 and retire, I wont complain about.
The only thing I dont like is he saying he will fight Juanma, and then looking to side and moving up.

Just dont say anythin and go do your thing!!!!!!!!
for GLORY, proving who's the best and showing he's able to back that up!!!! there is no shame at this point losing to JML in a unification bout, in my eyes the guy is a first ballot HOF (vazquez), but........ not acting like the Vazquez we all know.

I know, I meant he can get a belt at 126, and beat some lesser but good contenders there, without getting hammered by Juanma.

Anyways the fght that matters is JUanma vs Vazquez at 122!!!!!!!!!!!

I think unification with Juanma at 22 would sell better than a pointless 4th fight with Marquez, who he already beat on a rubber match. I thought he wanted to retire soon, why not make better money while at it you know. I still respect him thou, even if he ducked Juanma.

If Vazquez has recovered from that war then he still stands a chance. One thing for sure is that the trilogy with Marquez took a lot out of him. Props to him for being eager to face Juanma who is an emerging star.

            vazquez

Vazquez is brave, wiing to fight Lopez even after a long lay off and a detached retina. Thatá how a fighter should be, willing to fight anyone. Mayweather, on the other hand, ducked the best, and now is going to fight a much smaller oponent, Marquez. The funny thing is that Mayweather will do his hugging style, even though he´s bigger. I don´t know why people once thought he was pound 4 pound best. He´s boring, they gave him a gift vs de la hoya and castillo.
