If I was a welterweight like say Cotto (5'7" - 67" reach) or I dummo say Collazo (5'8" - 72" reach) I would be looking at fighting other people my size and not a guy who is taller and has a longer reach than any of the top 5 Light Heavyweights.

Already at 154 Williams is looking more like a boxer than a human diet plan gone wrong.

He weighed 168 in his first fight against Quintana. He's not long for 147 even if he can still make the weight. His frame dictates that he'll outgrow the weightclass in a fight or so if he hasn't already.

I met Ricky hatton in January this year, so in between fights, he is teh same size as me give or take an inch in height, there is no way he weighed nearly 13 stone. i'd say he was 11 1/2 - 12 stone (160ish) at the most.

No I'm just a regular poster. I just happen to be a boxing fanatic that catches alot of different interviews. If you follow boxing long enough and read enough interviews, from time to time boxers will say things like...I normally walk around at_____ or I came to camp weighing such and such. It pops up from time to time, so that's how I know.

But to answer your question...Arreola came to camp (for his last fight with McCline) weighing 277. This is before any training so I figure this is his walk around weight. Also Ricky does walk around 180 whenever he is into partying hard, eating junk food and drinking a lot. It's his life style that causes that to happen. I think married life may have settled him down some, and I think he more than likely walks around between 160-170

Those are the top guys at 147. All of them walk around weighing more than Paul, yet Paul is too big for 147 and not a true Welterweight. Every time a potential fight for Paul at 147 gets brought up people say Paul has no business there and is picking on smaller guys...some one explain the logic behind that?
Cu'z of his physical advantage specially his height and reach is too much for those guys you mentioned...
