Very slow weekend for boxing coming up

Very few interesting fights this weekend...

A couple of good prospects fighting on Friday.

But it's the slowest Saturday for boxing in months.

You would think there would be more big fights on holiday weekends!

Yes, the weekend of the 30th will be much better! Interesting card in Germany in the afternoon on Saturday, and then the HBO card in the evening.

I'm looking forward to seeing Angulo KO Cintron.

Starting to look like Cintron has nothing left. I was at the second fight with Margarito and I think that fight took whatever he had left as a fighter.

Even when there ain't no good fights on TV, I almost always have a few cats over to watch some fights from the collection. Can't go a weekend without some fights. Just can't do it.

Don't forget Rafael Marquez and Jhonny Gonzalez are fighting this weekend, hopefully we can get the stream since it will only be televised in Mexico.

I'm looking forward to seeing Rigondeaux and Lara, the Nishioka-Gonzalez fight should be really good as well and it'll be interesting to see Rafael Marquez again.

Problem is that almost no one on the US side will have a channel to access the Gonzales fight. For sure you have to live in Mexico to see that fight on TV.

I think streams will pop up around fight time, it's not the same as watching on TV but it'll fill your boxing needs.

Yeah looking forward to 30th too Tunney. Once we get this dead weekend out of the way, get the momentum going for June's big fights.
