Don't think a Dawson Johnson rematch will be as good as the first one. Glen had his chance to beat him the first time and came so close. Dawson should be the one that evolves since the first fight and makes it an easier fight for him.

I would gladly be proved wrong though.

Dawsons last 3 fights have been against 40 year olds.

Don't make him fight another one in Johnson.

Even Clinton Woods is close at 37.

But no way will he ever fight his mandatory, Tavoris Cloud.
That's what I don't understand. If this piece of information is true then there is no way that Dawson's supporters can defend him any longer. I know Cloud has been inactive and that's ****** on his part but he's a big puncher who gave Chad fits in sparring according to some sources. Do I sense a duck here on Dawson's part? And if Cloud is ranked #1 by the IBF then why fight #2 in Clinton Woods. This is a guy that got totally wiped out by Tarver in a one-sided boxing clinic. This is like taking a MILLION steps back.

Even though Johnson is 1-1-1 with Woods he should be 3-0 against him. Dawson is garbage if he takes this fight. And if he's so concerned about fighting young guys then he's got a mandatory in Tavoris Cloud. But I guess Chad would rather collect that good old payday against a 44 year old B-Hop.

It's not that, it's just that Dawson vs Johnson II has to happen because of the decision in the last fight, don't you agree? I mean come on Cloud has been inactive for a long time, he should at least be busy to prepare himself for Dawson. HBO is supporting Dawson vs Johnson II, and you know the networks HAVE a lot of say on what fights will happen.

Dawson vs Woods will NEVER happen because Woods isn't a big name and HBO would NEVER televise this match. Dawson has a two-fight contract with HBO, and Dawson wants money and so does Shaw. HBO would rather televise Dawson-Johnson II.

It would be a bad decision for Dawson because he hasn't gotten any better. I think he is at stand still until he starts finishing guys. Glen johnson will be prepared to finish him and he mite. Bad Chad just doesnt kno how. He is one loss away from being a lifetime semi-star. He's got to get more violent.

Cosign to the fullest. The first fight between those two was a war..Chad owes it to Glen to rematch him..but you know people are gonna flame Chad for beating him if he does.
