Yer but Williams lost to a guy Cotto demolished so Cotto fought the next best two.

As for who went up in Cal/Hops, Hopkins is by far the bigger man and had two fights above 168 including a total schooling of the 175lb champion.

Listen we all know Cotto and Mosley are the real test for Floyd and for me these are the fights i will judges him historically on.

See Leonard is like Floyd, but at the time no one thought Leonard had a chance in hell.

Then he fights the canadian dude at 165 or whatever.

Seriously, no one had a clue Ray would win.

They pretty much know Floyd is going to beat this guy.

They see Leonard as taking on huge challenges, they don't see Floyd that way.

        Maybe he will.

He still has a chance to have a Leonard type career.
Now youre playing with my intelligence, why try to say nobody thought Leonard would beat LaLonde, not many were picking Ray to lose that fight. Again, why do you think he chose LaLonde instead of other guys during that time, he picked and chose like everybody else. Also, really shady how Leonard got LaLonde to put his light heavy title on the line also.

You think Floyd has a better resume than Leonard at this point?

Yeah, Lalonde wasn't the best, sure. Neither was some of the welters Floyd fought, but my point is Leonard took on stiffer challenges.

Floyd still has a chance to do that. He's only 30 now.

Only two fights above 168, Cal fought his whole career at 168 and can be argued he was the bigger man, Hopkins went up 15lbs to 175, while Joe only went up 7 lbs.

Boxing is all about gaining respect not self proclaiming. He may have earned it by **** talking and making boxing a mockery to Floyd nuthuggers and ignorant boxing fans but to the true fans he has not. Until he fights SHane Cotto Margarito or Williams he will never get respect. Sugar Ray Leonard reminds me of a floyd mayweather ecept Sugar Ray Leonard fought all the best fighters in the game during thier primes

Sorry Hagler was a 3 to 1 favorite not Lalonde.

I wrote the sentences out of order.

Lalonde was the canadian bum at 165. Hagler was the killer at 160.

When Cotto was free to fight him he managed to lose to Quintana

Amd then when Cotto lost to Margarito and Williams aint no comeback fighT!!!!!!
For 3 years every interview I saw Wiliams in he said he wanted Cotto, other fighters got to fight Cotto without even whispering his name. Arum knows whats up. But now the unfaithful Miguel will be offered up to the lions because Bob doesnt care anymore. His master plan is that Clottey beats Cotto.

Like I said, nobody could logically diss him if he beat the top WW's. If they did, their opinion don't matter cuz they're just bein bitches about it. The hypothetical **** don't work. 'No point fightin em cuz cats will say this.' ''If he fought em he'd own em anyway so why bother?' **** that cop out bull****. Just do it and watch the haters squirm. And I never discredited any of his past fights. I was a fan of his at the time most of those fights were happenin.

I gave him props for beating WInky the way he did tho, margarito is another win!!!!

Like I told you, dude doesnt even have a Succesfull title defense!!!!!

He should take a belt at 154 and go from there!!!!!!!!!
I really have no idea how you could think Cotto P4P is better than Williams. Winky Wright is better than anyone Cotto ever faced, and Williams straight up beat him down. And before you talk about how Quintana took his 0 away remember Williams avenged that loss in devastating fashion and removed all doubt that he was the better fighter. Cotto is one of my favorite fighters but he got beat up pretty bad by margarito, and is yet to avenge that loss, not to mention Williams made the Margarito fight look pretty easy.
