I think he should receive a **** load of credit if he happens to beat Floyd. It seems like he is the one making all the sacrifices like where weight is concerned and Mayweather is just dragging his feet. He's also the older fighter that has been in more wars. The only thing people might detract from the victory is Mayweather's inactivity and possible ring rust.

I will give Marquez DOUBLE full credit... Id give unreal credit... 18 months isnt long enough to REALLY change Floyd at all.... it SHOULD be taken into consideration, the only person in this fight that won't receive credit is Floyd by most people. I give Floyd credit. maybe 60-70% credit for a win, or the equivelent of beating a B fighter.

Marquez is an A class fighter... 2 weights higher, he is a B fighter to me.. as far disadvantage in weight is concerned anyway... his skills are the same but his weight disadvantage takes away from what he can do.


But..Marquez's disadvantages in weight... overshadow Floyds inactivity.
