first and foremost deep down possibly. But realistically more folks probably think they have a better chance of actually landing a fight with pacquiao. A fight with Mayweather is more like winning the lottery. Check your ticket stub and if you get the fight cong**** but it's not worth ****ing the drum for. Whatever the case, IMO he's gonna end up fighting Pacquiao. I just hope he also fights whoever is considered top WW afterwards.

did u ignore what kenny said 2 seconds after that?
that's a win for floyd....cause now kenny was agreeing with him that pacman beating oscar and hatton quicker was because he got to them 1st.

Yeah exactly, because pacman has been ko'd before, its a saver bet right, for someone the size of mosely.
Dont think pacman doesnt want a piece of mayweather, they just know what mayweather is up to, and he is the attraction, he's the one who will make the numbers in a pacman fight.

What you're saying is true but Pacquiao's got the belt(P4P#1 status.) Floyd won't be happy till he has that back, please believe that. Floyd does not like being anything short of #1 and he doesn't automatically reassume the thrown by saying he's not retired.

that's arguably so. Me personally think floyd is the top dude like always.

If u ask all the fighter who they would rather fight...theyall gon point to floyd, because realsitically he is the best fighter. I still think pacman and jmm still fighting for #2!

Another part of the interview, which had great moments for both (but more for Kenny), was when Kenny kept asking about Mosley and Floyd said, "Oh yeah, Shane Mosley and his 5 losses!" or somesuch.

How many losses does Marquez have? 4.

Floyd should have just stuck with the "it doesn't matter who's next" line instead of denigrating all of Kenny's suggested opponents. He went out of his way to rip all of them and he came off as someone who just doesn't want to fight those guys and keeps making excuses for why he won't. "He's not a draw like me," "He hasn't been around as long as me," and "He isn't undefeated like me." Of course, by those standards, there's no one to fight. There are no other elite, undefeated welterweights out there who are huge box office stars. It's a foolproof plan for his blinded fans, but objective fans see right through it.

I thought Kenny missed another chance to score a haymaker when Floyd asked "Who have I ever ducked or dodged?" He could have said, for kicks and giggles, "What about Margarito and his career-high offer of $8 million to fight a couple years ago?" Now, while I am firmly in the "Mayweather would outbox Margarito" camp, it is a valid question to ask, plaster or not...because at the time nobody knew or suspected anything. But it would have been hilarious to hear Floyd rip Margarito and the plaster wraps.

I also wonder why Kenny didn't ask about Cotto...weird.
