How bad would Calzaghe look if Jones beats Lacy?

If Jones can TKO Lacy or make him quit, he'll do something that Taylor and Calzaghe didn't do. If he goes on to beat Kessler too, then Calzaghe fans would just have more to brag about, like "Calzaghe already beat all 3 of those guys" or "Calzaghe ruined Lacy", "Calzaghe beat an undefeated Kessler" which are all pretty good points if you ask me. If Jones goes on to convincingly beat Hopkins in a rematch(more convincing than Calzaghe) than we have an argument there, and the 'what if Roy was at his prime when he fought Calzaghe' speculation would come up. Plus, those 3 names are Joe's best wins. Ultimately, Jones beating those 3 guys, would just add to Calzaghe's legacy, imo. Jones should fight other guys after Lacy, like Ward, Froch/Bute, Dawson/Hopkins.

He wont look bad at all. Calzaghe never lost to anyone. So Jones can go and beat Calzaghe's entire resume and still not make Calzaghe look bad.

That'll never happen but if it did then how would it not not make Calzaghe look bad? And people have a point about Lacy turning out to be a total dud and Kessler doing **** all since that loss to Joe.

exactly, all of a sudden roy isnt shot anymore, makes his win against roy which currently, rightly, looks like ****, look good.
