Maybe it's the fact that he's gonna be losing half of all_his_****, or who knows, but the way I see it, Shane's in the zone right now and I don't see any other welters beating him. Maybe PWill has a chance, but that guy's probably not coming back down to welter.
Margarito is a COMPLETELY differnet fighter to Floyd Mayweather.....

Margarito blocks punches with his head Floyd does not

Margarito is NOWHERE NEAR as precise

Margarito has always had problems with speedy guys

Margarito is a straight ahead swarmer

    Margarito is slow as hell

Margarito boxing IQ is low as hell

As sensational as Mosleys performance was against Tony Floyd Mayweather is a COMPLETELY different they're COMPLETE Polar opposites.....

Floyd is gunna outbox Shane so silly it's gunna be embarassing to watch actually I might not watch it cause I like Shane......

We are not talking about rules , that is not the agenda in here we are discussing the FIGHTING MERIT of boxers that is what we talk about who is better than who at fighting , you call Floyd a ***** because of rules instead of the actual fight itself and ignore the information we have so you sweep that information under the carpet an say hail the rules ,,, the rules today are being abused by modern science to effectively gain an unfair advantage , no worries mate , your not going for rules because you only use them against the fighters you dont personally like , and whine when it happens to your fav fighters ,, the 30hr weigh-in is a total crock .

True, didn't mean to compare Tony and Floyd that way, that's not what I meant by bringing him up. What I meant is I honestly believe that Marg and Cotto are the reasons Floyd retired, he didn't wanna face those guys.

Now Mosley has destroyed Marg and had a very close (I saw Shane winning) fight against Cotto, so I doubt Floyd will give him a chance. The man isn't known for taking risks. (Case in point, fighting JMM at 147.)

And to be honest, I say Mosley will "kick Floyd's ass" kind of jokingly. I think it would be a good, close fight, but I see Shane taking it. You can't tell me you really believe Floyd can outbox Shane to the point of embarrassment.

          kk sos man....

Though the fight was close against Mosley and Cotto, the reason why Mosley lost is because Cotto was outboxing him and landing the CLEANER blows, Mosley has MAJOR problems with fighters with good jabs and can box and use angles...

The Cotto Forrest and Winky fights ALL had something in common just like Roger says and you'll find out after Floyd wins a lopsided decision...

What I saw as a major factor in the Forrest and Winky fights was the size difference. Floyd and Shane are about the same size. In any case it would be nice if Floyd actually agreed to fight Mosley, but I doubt it'll happen.

only problem is that mosley was too scared to fight floyd when floyd called him out.

do you not realize that Mosley is a Fighter not a boxer. Boxer>fighters

                  Floyd>mosley.

im sorry, mosley's performance against a low class fighter like Marg. is far from any type of measuring stick you'd want to use in gauging a fight with Mayweather

The Marg comparison wasn't about the performance or even Marg's style. It was about the fact that Floyd avoided Marg when he was the top welterweight, and now that Mosley is the top welter, I think he'll avoid him too.

and as far as your boxer>fighter assessment, I won't bother giving you examples. I'll just say you need to go back and look at boxing history to see that it isn't always the case. And besides, Mosley's a boxer/puncher.

so I guess that means Mosley should never be able to fight him anymore since he didn't fight him back then.
