vitali should just jump in with maskaev and belt him, maskaev is shot and poses no threat, just try some new things on him, get some easy rounds then put him away at his own convenience

i do however fear for maskaevs health, like someone said oleg has been stopped 6 times, and badly ktfo a couple of times as well, plus he has to be around 40, the WBC are being ****s as always, oleg shouldnt even be in the picture for a title

and if he does get in with vitali hes in serious danger

****en Vitali, he's pissing me off, at first i was all for the arburtration for sport thing because of the non fare double mandatory, but now i realize Vitali is making his fans suffer and his own bank account. But he's said before he doesnt fight for money. He doesnt realize that he is going to have to fight Maskaev anyway, even if they rule in his favor Maskaev will fight bums in the mean time or not at all, waiting for his mandatory. So its either fight him now or later, why not now. I guess the WBC awarding Vitali the greatest puncher ever award didnt make him withdraw his dispute.

Vitali looked really old in his last fights... I think he has one or two fights left...

He just could have taken Maskaev (he wouldn`t earn any $ for the fight...) and finish his career with a win over an undefeated prospect (Arreola, Dmitrenko or Povetkni)...

P.S. Maskaev doesn`t deserv this shot in my opinion...

He doesn't in terms of who he's beaten, but he feels he does in compensation for the way he was mistreated by the WBC when he was champion - and he had a strong enough case legally that the WBC felt they couldn't afford to let it go to court, which was why they agreed to make him the mandatory.
