    Floyd wants Featherweights to jump up multiple weight divisions to fight him at 147lbs.

    Manny wants Welterweights to drop a couple of pounds to a catch weight of 144 (plus or minus a pound or two).

        Weight drained is worse than ballooned. Also, its not 147 its a catchweight of 144.

        Weight Drained = Dehydration

        Ballooned = Uncomfortable

            I use to respect some of your threads, floyd stan or not. Yet, as of lately you've been labeled as an idiot due to your posts...

                Whats worse is idiots that believe the weight 30hrs before in a dehydrated state is more important than the weight they actually fight at , biggest crime in boxing is IGNORANCE to the sport .

                1)Fighter trains to his best fighting weight .

                2)72 hrs prior to weighin he is at his best fighting weight.

                3) from 72hrs he is beginning to shed fluid to the tune of 10-16 pound over the course depending on the fighter and he then weighs in 30 hrs prior into a much lower weigh class that his natural size could get into .

                4) he replaces the fluid he shed to be back at his best fighting weight that he was 72 hrs ago and fights .

                5) Now he can compete in a lower weight class but is many pounds above the minimum weight for that class at fight time with a huge advantage over a guy stepping in the ring as say WW which has always been 147 lbs not 160 like Cotto and Mosley step in at how can you dudes ignore this , the 30 hr weigh-in is actually cheating , fighters are ment to be fighting close to their own size within a few pounds or at most from one division limit to the next but the 30hr weighin allows this basic concept of boxing to be abused , WWs should not be able to step into the ring above 147 , MWs not above 160 and not below 154 , that is the core of fighting not this ***ed situation where Pac and Floyd who fight in the ring around 147 and Cotto and Mosely fight them weighing 160 + you guys are ***ed in the head .

                  I thought Pacquiao is known for jumping in weightclass to accomodate the opponent.

                  From SuperBantam he jumps 1 weightclass to challenge Barrera at feather.

                  Jumped from Feather to Superfeather to challenge Morales.

                  Jumped to Lghtweight to challenge Diaz.

                  Jumped 2 weightclasses to challenge Oscar.

                  Jumped to Lt Welter to challenge Hatton.
