I think it's just for this fight since GBP is helping him Co-Promote it. He's being nice with them for a while.

He still said he was going to kill Marquez come July 18th though...

I cant wait till see Mayweather up against a top rank fighter. Then it will be fireworks!

Mayweather always changes his personality/image for the cameras depending on the mood he's in, or how he feels like portraying himself at the moment.

He's been humble at times, even in the past, in the Corrales post-fight interview, Jay Leno show after the DLH fight, Hatton post-fight interview, etc...Then other times he goes into his annoying childish rants.

He probably can't keep up the good-guy image for that long. His ego just comes out. He's not skilled like a De La Hoya, or Michael Jordan, at consistently putting on a nice PC image for the cameras.

Anyone noticed it recently in his interviews? I swear he is trying his upmost best to come accross as humble as he can. I think he's secretly been on the forums since his retirement and has been hurt by the odd comment here and there so now he's back trying hard to win the fans over by showing a much less ****y and arrogant side to him.

He still can't help himself tho. I listened to an interview earlier where is was bigging himself up for giving stuff away to the homeless and creating jobs for people? Surely if you were such a mother teresa like figure to the community you wouldn't feel the need to have to tell people that cus they would already know.

come on even when the guy is attempting to be humble you complain....and make up some wierd rationalization....

Nothing wrong with Mayweather being the bad guy, "The more they hate you, the more they pay to see you" Problem is, we'd all like to see Mayweather fight Pacquiao and then Shane or Cotto, as for the bold, that is where he'll get alot of his respect back.
