Alot of haters blossoming up on this issue must be Marquez fans. Why is Cotto or Shane even concerned about a Pacquiao fight anyways they are both natural Welterweights. Why dont they just establish themselves by moving up rather then eyeing the smaller men. If you want too make a big payday fighting the man then your going to have to agree to his terms (Ex. Oscar De La Hoya)

Who has the real balls here, Marquez agreeing to fight P4P Mayflower at 144 or Pacyaow bitching about calling down a welterweight to 142? Cotto never even called out Pacyaow and Manny wants him to come to his terms?

Who said Pac was calling out the Welterwieghts? Are you forgetting Shane wanted the winner of Hatton and Pac? If I was a great fighter, I'd never encourage anyone to fight me underweight and I'd never call myself a champ if I was avoiding someone.

3. If fighters agree to it then whats the big deal. When you sign that contract your saying I can make the weight and be able to fight at it too. Pac never called out Oscar, Oscar was looking for a fight where he would look good. Roach even said their only fighting at 147 for the Oscar fight.
4. So its okay for Mayweather to have smaller fighters get out of their comfort zone to fight them. DOUBLE STANDARD

I usually don't agree with Roach, but I do believe Cotto will lose. It's funny that Arum is already trying to get the wheels turning for Pacquaio-Cotto, and flying Manny out to the show. For what? No way, no how do I see Cotto beating Clottey. I don't think there will be any controversy whatsoever. From there, Pacquaio fights Mayweather or Marquez, hopefully Shane fights Paul Williams, and Clottey probably fights Berto.

I started thinking the same thing until i went on boxing rec and saw that Clottey has not had a TKO or a KO in 5 years. Whether or not he beats cotto is out of our hands but isnt it great that this is on FREE HBO. All the Great fights are the ones that have no PPV like JMM vs Diaz. Floyd mayweather will also be reduced to free HBO or better yet shotime when Sugar Shane handles his ass. The most entertaining thing about Floyd's fights are when Uncle Roger starts talking. He makes me laugh and
makes me glad i am not from the Mid West.

Second, people are overlooking Cotto more than Clottey. People say CLottey will beat Cotto, just because people still have the image of Cotto losing to Margarito.

I have said this many times, Cotto has fought guys with similar style as Clottey. This is the first time, that Clottey will fight a boxer, who can Box, he can brawl, and is the best body puncher in the game.

People will e shock at how easy, Cotto will win this. CLottey will win may 1 round or 2. And Cotto might stop him late, do to body punches and Clotteys bad stamina.

Dont be surprise, if Cotto hits him with a clean shot to the chin and wobbles Clottey.

Anyways, I say Cotto easy UD, or late Rounds TKO
