im a fan of Clottey, but he's not like Paul Williams in that fighters are avoiding him because of his style.
he's tough, has shown good boxing ability, and has good defense.

even though he easily whooped Judah, i questioned his power.

Cotto's chin is not in question...he can take some punishment.

does Clottey have what it takes to knock out a guy who can take as much as he can dish, or does Cotto simply outboxed a fighter who has yet to prove he belongs with the elite?

Cotto has the power to hurt Clottey, Cotto is no slouch in the power department, it's just that Clottey has an iron chin. Clottey did get hurt by Judah when he landed his straight left.

Did you even watch the fight between Clottey/Margarito. Clottey was
giving Margarito fits and took his best shots. I don't know what fight
some of you were watching but I didn't see Judah give Clottey a problem
in NO way. Clottey had Judah hurt in the 7th and made him quit.
That wasn't no head butt that caused that cut over his eye. Clottey
beat Zab into submission and had him lie about not being able to see
out of his eye when clearly it was wide open. If Clottey can pressure
Cotto and take his punch away then Cotto loses.

clottey has a great chance of beating cotto. clottey has yet to be hurt in his career. very strong as a fighter with good defense. good chin and outstanding workrate. ill take clottey by late tko

clottey is under-estimated. i still give a slight advantage to cotto no doubt, but alot of guys here think that cotto is just gonna run him over and KO him in the first couple rounds.
i think clottey is gonna give him a little more fight than what most people think.......

Listen Cotto has no chin and clottey has a big punch when Clottey hurts Cotto just look out for another low blow like he did with zab judah. Clottey wins by knockout.

Dude wake up. You're dreaming.. All the people in here think cotto has no chin, as i recall when he got hurt by Corley it wasn't a punch on the chin it on the temple on top of the head, so i don't know why all you people say cotto chin this and that. His chin is fine and clottey does not have the power to even knock cotto down. Cotto hits harder than plasterito let see how much punishment he'll take from cotto.

Not everyone, I truly believe Clottey will beat Cotto, I'm usually right about fights 7 or 8 times out of ten an I don't think Cotto is strong enough to seriously hurt Clottey. I think Clottey's defense will fustrate Cotto and I don't think Cotto is at his best when he is fustrated.

Why is everybody in here think clottey can't be hurt? That's exactly what everyone thought on plasterito and look what happen to him against mosley. Cotto can hurt him and he could hurt bad.

He has a great boxing mind, but this time he's wrong.
