Mayweather making 144 should be no problem for him imo.

Mayweather is always in shape and is usually near that weight so it wouldn't be like he was draining himself to get there.

According to his fans he isn't a natural WW so anything just below it should be really easy.

Nope, since he fights at like 148-149 fight night no matter if he fights at 147 or 140. He is just playing this weight game to get an advantage over marquez... If you look at floyds past fights, even when he fought at 140 he'd come in around 147...

the same could be said of pacman even when he was fighting below 140. and no i dont think it'll make a difference

You know at first i was thinking that people had forgotten how good Mayweather was, no i'm beginning to think people are vastly underrating Marquez, this will be a great fight

He's a natural 140lb'r it wouldnt affect him, it just makes him look more ****** for making JMM fight him at 147

Personally, I think that Floyd could work his way down to 140 without too much negative side effects if he really wanted to, but I'm glad he got the fight at 144. He gave in to demands his whole career, especially since Arum never backed him up while he was promoting him. Now, that Mayweather's a PPV star he should throw his weight around in negotiations.
