Mayweather wouldn't have gotten any credit had it been at a catchweight.

I swear you *****s have no shame..
First off, I wasn't blaming Mosely. I was giving the REAL SCENARIO. As I said, I like Mosley so I wouldn't bash him for the fight NEVER coming off. From what has been REPORTED, Mayweather and his team was interested in fighting Shane at 35, but Shane was REPORTLY not interested. Then, May looks to fight Shane again, but Shane wanted time off and he said that he had a tooth ache AFTER the Vargas fight. Then, after May beats Oscar Shane wants to fight him, but May wasn't interested. As I said, NEITHER DUCKED EACH OTHER, but the fight just NEVER came off.

I would have preferred the fight to happen BACK then at 35, when Shane was PRIME. If they fought now and Floyd won, I don't think he would get much credit AFTER the fight. Thats how I feel and I'm sticking to it.

But Floyd asking Marquez to fight at 147 when inevitably Floyd is going to fight WW's is just a sign that he wants huge money even for a tune-up. He needs someone else with him to generate some buzz and being there aren't any WWs with a name available, he took the next route which is the #2 fighter in the world who happens to be a Lightweight.

I've been following Boxing for many years and though I'm a fan of Floyd as a fighter, he doesn't fit the mold of a champion who takes the big challenges.
No one is bashing Floyd for fighting Shane ...PRE FIGHT..but trust me...POST fight would be a lot DIFFERENT!

            1. So why should Mayweather go down in weight for someone who called him out?

            2. Why should it matter that it isn't at a catchweight, when he wasn't gonna get any credit, why?

I'm just want to see where Mayweather is at and hope we get to see Baby Bull vs Guzman on the undercard
