Now if he pulls the same **** with Pacquiao, then I'll lose a lot of respect, but I seriously doubt Freddie Roach would allow that to happen.

Besides, it's either Floyd vs Marquez at 147 or Floyd fighting some bum or washed up opponent as his tuneup.
    yup.............

Any other fighter, this would be perfectly ok. But since it's mayweather people put unrealistic expectations on him and nothing he can do is enough for the haters.
I was going to make a thread stating these points you just made, but at the end of the day what is the point?

People who calling him a ***** have been calling him a ***** since forever.
Nothing changing the status quo here on boxingscene.

I just made a paul williams thread yesterday stating how paul williams called out the entire SMW Division and should the SMW's fight him at 168...

Do you know what the majority of the answer was to that question...
YES the SMW should fight him at 168 if he called them out....

So what does that tell you about boxingscene?

Boxingscene is full with Poster with Self fulfilling prophecies
Nothing changes and everybody always play their roles.

you can't defend him, come on... if this fight was being billed as a tune up then fair enough but 24/7?? PPV? **** outta here we want a fair fight for that money.

yeah, i say the same thing. but then again, as i am on e of floyds biggest critics, marquez called him out, floyd being the character he is, of course isnt going to let the fight even be close to even before they step into the ring, sad to say but this fight was won for floyd jr before they even stepped into the ring.

as much as i don't like this, you have to blame marquez for the weight in this fight, like i said before he did call out mayweather and he did agree to fight at the weight floyd wanted to fight, which we know there would never be a fight if floyd was having to give up advantages. the way i look at this fight is, floyd basically is saying that he wouldn't fight marquez unless marquez has one hand tied behind his back on top of adding 12lbs from where he last fought, which is all the way up to 17lbs form his natural weight/ his best weight.

it's a lose lose situation for marquez, the only thing he can hope for is some unexpected event that pits him into the win............ that of course is something that is out of anyones hands except the boxing gods........

floyd dont and wont get any credit from me beating marquez, unless he struggles with him, which i have a hard time seeing...............

                      boo this fight.....
