to be 100 percent honest...this breaking news didnt surprise me. Nor did the reaction of boxing fans surprise me. He gets a TON of criticism ANYWAY, so why should this decision be any different? It's a tune up fight after a 2 year layoff which will set up a fight with Pacquiao (which will be the biggest fight in the sport). Of course floyd is going to take every advantage he can possible get.

Now if he pulls the same **** with Pacquiao, then I'll lose a lot of respect, but I seriously doubt Freddie Roach would allow that to happen.

Besides, it's either Floyd vs Marquez at 147 or Floyd fighting some bum or washed up opponent as his tuneup.
