thats a weird ass match up to analize......i dont think winky struggles with the type of fight mccallum does(mid range sharp shooting and body punching).......mccalllum however sometimes struggled with good jabs and slickness....dunno......ill take winky just cus i think hes awesome

why any match up then? what's odd about it? two of the best jr middlweights of all time facing off, in a battle of true ring technical fighters.

yeah this match up is an obvious one.....but man its very difficult to analise....since this guys really didnt get dominated in their primes as to know what really works against them.......if anything, i would say from a points stand view, wright is affected by his complacency(though he can be very determined when he is hungry enough) to just block and waiting for the other guy to stop throwing sometimes(though i think this was more evidet with post prime wright) and mccallum, like i said in my view struggled with cuury's and kaalambays jab and slickness(prime winky had a better jab, but he didnt move as much as those guys).....like i said, ill take winky by close decision....i dont thik mccallum would be able to work winks body.......winky has those long hard ass arms and mike would be hitting elbows all night.....

I think this match-up would favour McCallum. Look at how he picked apart Michael Watson for example.
