is it mandatory that the ref stops a fight when a fighter gets up from a knockdown and falls again?

i prob would've wanted it to be allowed to continue ... but that dont mean it was a bad stoppage what so eva

No, because Yoel would give like the dumbest advice during the 1 minute break showing off his ridiculous shadowboxing skills. Zab gets KO'ed in the next round anyway

I don't know how you could say it shouldn't have been stopped. He got up his legs shook like crazy then he went straight back down. He should have stayed down for a few more seconds instead of trying to get up immediately before he had strength in his legs again.

getting up and then falling on your face is not a good impression to make on the ref.

What Jay Nady said after the fight in a nutshell was: Judah got up and then fell back down which in the rule books is an automatic stoppage. If he would have taken a little time to try and clear his head and get up at like 8 or 9 he would have let him continue.

I think Nady did the right thing according to rules, once a fighter gets Knocked down and looks hurt then gets back up, and down again that's an automatic TKO. Basing on the times Zab caught Tszyu in the first round with some good flush shots and actually had Tszyu on ***** street(momentarily stunned), I would have given Zab a punchers chance to get back in the fight.
