I personally think that Mares has more of a future, but this last year ******, exposure-wise. Injury just hurt that year. Nonetheless, he seems to be on the comeback trail, perhaps like Robert Guerrero, where he'll beat some bums in the first of three fights kind of thing. Hopefully he doesn't pull a Guerrero and just whoops some ass.

Comcepcion, I've seen VERY SELDOM. Nonetheless, he could be someone I watch on a regular basis if they match him well. He's a solid fighter.

Mares has some of da most beautiful combinations i've seen from a young fighter like him...for some reason i think him and Juanm Lopez will meet in da future, Mares already beat Juanma Lopez in either da amateurs or da Olympics, one of DEM two.

To me it's Mares. Concepcion has talent but he's erratic, one good performance then a bad one, sooner or later, that'll catch up to him.

mares is the real deal. bernabes overrated IMO. way overrated i see nothing special in him and he hasn't fought anyone. being filippino, i am going to root for him though. i have more faith in banal than concepcion though.

donaire, viloria, and pacquiao all won title fights recently. two of those guys are in the top ten p4p. concepcion and banal won impressively as well.
