    Diaz Is The New Vargas/Mayorga/Zab!!!

although I may not put Zab in that catagory because I do think he can come back at his normal weight of 140 and be a beast. Why would Diaz team let him lose to Campbell, come right back and lose to JMM, and now come right back against Guzman. Why fight Guzman right now? He better be getting paid like hell and even if he is, its still a ****** fight. I didnt see Guzman's last fight but some said that he didnt look the same and maybe the weight is catching up to him. Maybe thats the thinking of the Diaz camp but other then that, they are fools. Stop ruining the kid. It will be so hard to come back if he gets skooled. I hate it when trainers and managers ruin fighters. You dont take all those tough fights back to back if your losing and he even had a tough fight with Katsidis in between them even though he won pretty easily. T

hey better hope this works out but I think you see it so often nowdays in boxing that a top guy loses and then people jump to fight him because they see him as beatable and instead of turning the fight down, the losing camp always sees it as a chance to redeem themselves and get straight back to the top. Thats bad. Let Juan have a couple easy fights and then a solid fight and then a top guy. He would be much better off that way. I just have a feeling that Guzman is going to kill him and Diaz went from one of the top guys in boxing to a nobody in just a few fights. That would be so sad to see. I could see him starting to look like crap like Vargas and Mayorga started to look or just taking big fights that he cant win like Zab was doing. I think its dumb and his team should be ashamed of themselves. Unless they think Guzman is becoming shot, he is the last guy they should want to fight

I would have liked to have seen Juan in a somewhat easy fight to gage his confidence level and then put him in with Guz, but ****e it. No guts, no glory.

I think the real question is why can't you read 2 simple paragraphs?

It takes 2 seconds! Better than 2 line pointless threads.

It all comes down to money. Diaz only wants to fight on HBO and they aren't taking tuneups. He said, he wants to dedicate himself to boxing for the next year and a half; I suppose he wants as much money out of it as he can. Props to Juan for taking a murderers' row of the lightweights type schedule.
