All BS aside I think Chavez would have beaten him, he would have fought Mayweather on the inside like Castillo, but unlike Castillo if Chavez landed he would have done damage, Mayweather wasn't the defense master he is now, so he would have eaten a few of Chavez's punches and would have eaten a few "ganchos al igado" (hook to body).
