I never understood that, how slow and wide open Tony would beat Mayweather.

coulda, woulda, shoulda. Story of Floyd's career. Doesnt change the fact that Margarito punked Floyd to his face and he ran and retired n sat on the sidelines waiting for someone else to do his dirty work 4 him.

The rumors of Mayweather coming out of retirement started when?? The week right after Margarito lost to Moseley. Coincidence??? I think not. it was what he was waiting for the whole time before coming out of retirement.

i just think that its funny floyd fans actually believe all you have to do is "call out floyd" and he'll fight. Margo and many others called him out for so long with no dice.

Exactly! And none of us knew that Tony was using Plaster. Who cares if he was slow and wide, all he needed was one shot. Ricky Hatton was hitting Floyd and Hatton is slower than Tony :lmfao:

                  Rashad Hollaway

Ironically, one of Roach's fighters, Rashad Holloway, had suffered a fractured orbital bone during a sparring session with Margarito. After Margarito was caught with the illegal wraps prior to the Mosley fight, Roach had some harsh words to say about Margarito and Capetillo

And one of Margarito’s sparring partners, Rashad Hollaway, told an even more damning story to Ryan ******** of BoxingScene.com about a Dec. 19 sparring session with Margarito in which he was seriously injured by a left uppercut thrown by Margarito.

“When it first happened, I didn’t know what hit me,” Hollaway told ********. “I’ve been hit 50 million times in my career, but I’d never been hit with a shot that hurt like that. It felt like a hard object hit me in the face. I thought he hit me with the palm of his hand. It wasn’t like a normal punch. It didn’t feel like a padded glove hit me. It was like a solid, hard impact. It felt like I had been hit with a bag of rocks.

They probably though it because he had a high-workrate but you're right he is slow though he does have a high-workrate. Doesn't he throw like 800-900 punches a fight or is he as high as calzaghes workrate with over 1,000 punches. Whatever is is he still had a pretty good workrate compared to other fighters out their.
