The problem with Toney is his temprament. In his prime he'd fly into a rage at the drop of a hat. His pre-fight antics with Barkley are the stuff of legend. A notorious wind-up merchant like Hopkins would make it his mission in life to get under Toney's skin. So much so that I'd almost expect to see Toney arrive at the weigh-in packing heat.

Aside from screwing with Toney's mind (if that isn't enough) Hopkins's style would cause him a ton of problems. Toney loved fighters coming forward at him. Almost always they'd leave themselves open to his sledge-hammer counters. "Open" and Hopkins are two words you rarely see in the same sentence.

Epically boring... Fight would have been great 7 years ago at LH. Not anymore though for obvious reasons.
