is floyds power underrated?

how has it changed over time? i'm just curious.

after watching the highlight videos i posted in the other thread.

it seems as if he has a decent amount of pop.

i always hear people ****ting on his power but he looked pretty solid.

has his power faded as of recent? what am i missing?

he has bad hands, and always ends up hurting them.....so instead of going for knockouts all the time, he figures to just "box" and win easy decisions sometimes. all in all, he does have underrated power tho, IMO.

He doesn't have much power, it's the accuracy and speed which kills the opponents.

He's not a hard killer puncher, he had some good pop in the lower divisions but as he's gone up the bigger guys can take his punches. I was really surprised he knocked Ricky Hatton down like that, it was so massive, but then again for some reason nobody has ever really caught Ricky clean on the chin like that.

He has decent power but its nothin great. Its the speed and accuracy that makes his punching so effective. Nothing wrong with that but in the higher weights you aint going to knockout many guys like that unless you let your hands go which he doesnt. I would be shocked if he knocks out Marquez.

No. Even in smaller weights when he was a beast who did stop guys, Mr boat buyer wasn't a big puncher.
