I have a feeling Pac and Floyd won't meet in the ring, 2009 or 2010.

I think Manny will wind up fighting either Shane or Cotto, at 145,
and then will quickly retire to announce his candidacy for Representative
of Saranggani province, in time for the 2010 elections. Pac's afraid
he'll miss the election year, and doesn't remember how he lost the last
time, because his fans wanted him to just keep boxing.

IMHO it's his mother exerting the most influence, trying to get him

Officially, if the Golden Boy himself agreed to meet halfway in weight,
Shane and Cotto have to do the same. Unofficially, it's to turn Shane
into a wraith or Cotto into a zombie. Win's halfway in the bag if Pac's
opponents are excessively weight-drained. Worse for Shane than Cotto.

Blame the **** on Roach.
Pac has already said twice, he'll fight any one at 140-147.
