That's the fight I actually saw of him.

You see the athletic abiliy; the speed; the swagger. All he has to do is sharpen up and settle down and get his mind into a pro mind-set and he would be good to go. This is where someone Wlad and Vitali can come in and show him how to prepare for the Pro ranks. Same with the other amateurs.

Take that head-gear off and put them in sparring against Pro fighters and they will learn quicker. That's one thing I remember Rooney said about Tyson and how they trained him under D'Amato. No need for head-gear in sparring because without it, your mind through training tells you to move your head and cover up...keep that chin tucked. Head-gear is only to prevent cuts when sparring leading up close to the fight or if you have a cut already and need it to heal. Other than that, take the head-gear off and spar to get used to the pro game. That was Cus's thoughts.

You see how when he stopped moving around so much and planted his feet he was even better...even his power. That should be his style most of the time and mix it up with the other. He should be using his feet not like Ali but to move in and out and confuse his opponents kind of like Roy Jones Jr. did.
No need to waste to much energy in the Pro game when you have to go 12 rounds.

      6'3, 200 pounds, right?
      Cruiser-weight as of now.

He's 21+ so it will be interesting to see what he does.

Actually, if he were to turn pro someone like Roach/Moorer would be good for him along with his trainer right now as a full team. Roach trained Pac and Moorer understands the southpaw style well and could teach him how to get full potential of his power play defense as well.
And then conditioning him to make sure he can go the full 12 rounds is important. Hire the same guy Manny has for his personal training/nutrition as well.

Roman Romanchuk hl, Ukrainian Superheavy who fought for Russia, this is who i would of liked to seen go pro, beat Camarelle 08 gold and Solis

unfortunately while he was out at a bar some guy pulled a gun on him shot him, Romanchuk took the gun from the guy and shot the guy in the eye, killing him

so he's up for murder charges (sentenced to 18 months i think) and is said to be disabled now himself, although i'v seen videos post incident and he looked okay

          Under the URL.

See where it says "Subscribe" in yellow. URL is right there and EMBED is right underneath that. copy it and then paste on here.

i agree with the footwork, headgear things, he does dance a little too much and should sit down on his punches more often

i got into it with another guy on the Lomachenko thread about trainers though, that's the thing i disagree with
basically i just think eastern guys should stay with their trainers rather than hire american ones, just don't think its compatible & that their own trainers have more to offer

but would love to see him as a pro, think he could make a great transition

Yo why did you give me red K last night? For stating my opinion?

Maybe but I would actually suggest making a full team out of it. Guys like Roach have been around the pro game for a while and know how to match-make properly which is important especially for a young fighter. And then he has Michael Moorer with him who was a very good HARD HITTING Southpaw.

So it would be the Wild Car Gym guys plus whoever trains him now. If he decides he doesn't need the Wild Card guys, then he could always drop them but it is better to check it out from the start. His trainer can also learn whatever he doesn't know and if he does know, then they could go on their own. But little money is made from the start anyway so I think it is a good idea.

To me, he looks like he needs to sharpen up despite his raw talent which is great.

I remember Shane talking about Tszyu in an article/interview about Kostya in the amteurs that Tszyu wasn't as powerful as he was in the Pros. I posted a fight of one of Tszyu's amateur fights where he knocked the guy out but some of the other fights he doesn't hit with much power...kind of like the Forrest fight. But Tszyu adjusted when he was a Pro and then he took the JrWW division by storm.

Some other fighters are already suited to be Pro like Matvey Korobov

OK...I have to go for now. Talk to ya later if I'm not back on in a bit.

Why you so quiet Jimmy? This is the second or third time you have given me red K for apparently no reason.

Didn't he fight on the Pac/Hatton undercard? Pretty damn good handspeed for a MW, might be a bit small though.
