Bernard Hopkins vs. Antwun Echols II;fight Hopkins hurt his shoulder and scored a KO

Anybody have this fight?

It's been on my mind since I made that Hopkins fight thread. I used to love watching that fight when I had my boxing tapes but I don't have them anymore. Now it stuck in my head and I can't find it anywhere.

That fight was incredibly dirty and I thought Hopkins was badass for continuing on after the injury despite the advice given him to hault the bout because of the injury and the fact he would have won the fight. But Hopkins was like Hell No, I'm going to finish this ****. Dirty, Dirty fight as well. Funny though.


It's also a fight rarely mentioned along with the Big "Name" fighters Hopkins beat but Echols was a dangerous fighter in his prime with a murderous punch...and Hopkins beat him.

That fight is one of my favorite fights. That was bad ass, dude could have easily got the DQ win, but he chose to fight on even through his arm was ****ed up.

If you guys think that was "bad", then watch danny williams in a fight where he shoulder popped out of the shoulder blade...and you actually see the shoulder out of position and in pain looks freaky and KO's the guy with one arm, that was rocky balboa stuff

imagine if calzaghe had hurt his shoulder during a fight. he would convince the ref to rule it as a tko victory for calzaghe based on "i would have stopped him anyway"

that was a wicked fight......boxing need more GRUDGE MATCHES like that......fighters today are too nice to one another like Jones-Calzaghe.....Hatton-Pac, come on man playin darts?.......B-Hop and Echols went hard that night!
