why is it that roberto duran can fight war after war, and still be able to beat top compitition in his late 30's, he was fighting the best fighters from age 15-39, but guys like JCC will fight war after war, and be done by his late 20's.

the question is why do fighters that fight similiar, dont have the same longevity?

Roberto Duran's beard absorbed much of the damage, hence, his hard fights after 30 35 years of age. JCC was clean shaven throughout his career that's why he couldn't take as many hard fights as Bobby D.
