    Clottey didn't quit, unlike Cotto.

Right on, daddy. Clottey has underrated hand speed and work rate. He'll make it hell for Cotto.

        Just say the word.

I would hate to take your money, I was hoping I could bet some other person but so be it.
No problem. Lets make the bet. Since the fight was announced I thought Cotto would win with ease, but lately I have changed my mind. I think Clottey might just win. So I will sig it up. My 25K on Clottey to your 75K on Cotto.

Cotto won't be done if he loses to Clottey.(Though I doubt it will happen.) Cotto can easily get big name fights as long as he doesn't get dominated or look bad in the ring.

Clottey has decent speed and power but not near as much as Mosely has consistantly which Cotto was able to endure. Clottey IMO doesn't keep a sustained work rate to bother Cotto and wear him down like Margarito did nor the boxing ability of Mosely. Clottey has modest power but nothing to be overly worried about. He has 2 KO's leading back to 2004 against just average competition. Cotto will probably face stiff competition in the early rounds but will eventually break the guard of Clottey and take the fight via late stoppage or UD.

This fight with Clottey is critical to Cotto's marketability. He gets a bit of a by on the Margarito loss because of the loaded gloves issue, so this fight with Clottey is the first real test since that loss. A win here and he's right back in the mix, a loss though and it would be a long road back.
