That Chico fight was misleading. Chico (RIP) was facing spousal abuse charges and prison time going into that fight with Floyd. That had to weigh heavily on his mind directly impacting his performance in the ring that night. Not to mention he was hella weight drained and weak. He was 6 feet tall and fighting at 130lbs! He was getting dropped with pillow punches from Floyd. He never really appeared hurt, he just didn't have any legs. That was not Chico Corrales in the ring that night.

Nope, Corrales just couldn't land, he seemed very strong to me, he just couldn't find Floyd. Remember, he also had a hard time finding Acelino Freitas and Freitas was a crapy fighter, good thing Chico caught him
