POLL: Catchweight fights Good or Bad?

Personally im **** sick of them! There are divisions in boxing for a reason

I do see how they help make fights the fans want that wouldnt be made otherwise but for me they shouldnt be happening

i feel ya..i think you should either move up or move down to the weight like in the old days..hell you dont even have to gain the weight if you're really a great boxer

Yea, they kinda suck. But they give more options for big fights.

catchweights help level the playing field in what otherwise would be size mismatches.

boxers moving up lose some speed and power and boxers moving down lose some stamina and punch resistance.

there's nothing worse in boxing than a mismatch. just look at JML and Penalosa. Penalosa was was to small to do anything against JML.

IMO, they are good if they are bringing two fighters together who the fans want to see battle each other. As long as they both agree and everybody's happy, it's all good.

Mate, no offense, but Kelly gets his ass kicked at any weight when Bernard Hopkins is in the opposite corner.

I think they are fine, if you got two fighters who are 2 of the best in the sport that are not at same weight classes but within 2 classes of each other, might as well have them fight at a catch weight so its fair for both
