It seems like floyd can beat anyone

because weve seen from him where he fights a mediocre fighter...he kind of coasts a lil...when faced with better comp he steps up levels and rises to the occasion. He can meet his opponant

what does Al Berstein have to do with this?

Yeah, but how many times have we seen a great fighter have an off night.

          That's a pretty good assesment.

I don't believe Floyd's had off nights in his entire career, much less looked to be in any danger against any of his opponents.

          He just never underestimates anyone.

I don't think it's ever a mistake for a fighter to fight another fighter. I don't like spoonfed fighters (like JCC Jr. and John Duddy). However, I do think Floyd may be biting off more than he intended to chew after a two year layoff. Marquez is the legitimate second best fighter in the world, and you'd be a fool to approach him like a tune-up. If Floyd has ring rust and can't find his rhythm in round one, he will lose round one. And so on, so I suggest that he put his heart into this camp. Marquez will make this a fight, and I promise you he will have his moments. I think it will be his toughest fight since Castillo I, honestly.

what I was gonna say yesterday b4 my pc ****ed up was that Floyd shouldn't be facing Marquez/Beristein before Pacquiao and instead should have faced Berto or someone like that. While I'm not sure if Marquez can pull off the upset, he is one of the best counter punchers and technicians in boxing. You combine that with Beristein knowledge and I telling you right now, the blue to beat Floyd will be laid. I was watching a few of his fights and I already see flaws so how much more so will Berstein (one of the greatest trainers in the world, especially with his experience) will try and exploit.

Floyd will either sit back, pot shot and run to victory, or try to make a point like he did against Arturo Gatti. I think the latter happens especially since Pac has been one upping him lately.

If he does the former, team Pac will say that Cotto is the more exciting fighter and pic Cotto for November.

If he tries to be more offensive he will fall into JMM game and get counter and that is when you will see Floyd get exposed. Roach will then have alot of material going into the camp to prepare Pac for Floyd.

fighters have off nights, from poor preparation, bad conditioning......bad nights happen for nba players. boxers can't afford to have an "off night." great fighters usually don't.

exposed? in 39 fights dude hasn't been exposed.....now big bad marquez is gonna expose him? what are these weaknesses or flaws you speak of? im sure if they were that obvious that YOU could pick up on them, some opposing trainer would've picked up on them a long time ago.

Well if this is a tuneup for Mayweather-Pac I would say that Marquez is nothing like the style of Pacquiao which could be a disadvantage for Floyd. Floyd will know the difference if he fights Pac next.

I don't think its a mistake. Floyd has every advantage. Only thing that could hurt him is ring rust. And I don't think that'll show too much. Marquez aint the type of fighter to jump on you. He's gonna pick his spots...if he fights ****** he'll be on the canvas.
