Neither will except that ****, that is some of the ridiculous **** I've ever heard.

He's not a large Welter and he's willing to fight Manny at a weight that's fair for both fighters. Props to Miguel. You're a ****ing groupie stan that has to get over your boy's decisions. Yikes...your a little on edge friend...I'm just stating my opinions on a thread...no hostility needed...People disagree all the time.
I'd feel that way about every boxer asking for a catch weight to get an easy win over a drained fighter.
Remember that movie Gladiator where The Emperor(Joaquin Phoenix) said he would fight Marcus Arelius(Russell Crow) but before the fight he stabed him in the gut to make it an "even" fight.
I bet you loved that bit.
^^^BOOM
Pull do you really find it that surprising that Mosley or Cotto would try to fight Manny Pacquiao...He has already fought in there division and is a huge draw...Why would they not try to get in on that...from a financial point of view?Comment

1) pac fighting dlh at 147 was a one time deal. roach said that from the very beginning.
2) yeah, but if they want the payday they gotta cut the weight. will their greed win out or will common sense? if greed wins out, then you can't blame anyone (including pac and roach) except mosley and cotto themselves.Comment

pac officially weighed 138 lbs for the hatton fight.... why would he want to move up to 147?
the last time pac fought at 147 (he weighed 142 lbs officially) he got a huge dlh-money pay day.
can cotto and mosley offer that kinda money? if not then pac dont need to move up.Comment

Roach comes off like an arrogant prick sometimes...I've never met him...but he's got real vibe of being a self aggrandizing pretentious pompous Penis Hole...That is rude to people that he believes are underneath him....Like Manny's entourage.
TMO
Like I said I never met the man...Could be way off but I hardly ever am

Floyd has been moving up for the last several years so he had no need to try to dehydrate to 138.
The dehydration/Re-hydration process takes alot of sacrifice.
Some fighters can dehydrate more then others so this is not the true weight of the fighters.
A small amount of fighters don't like to go through the process at all.
Registered/Official weight is just the dehydrated weight for most fighters.
Used as an advantage to squeeze into a lower official weight class.
most fighter can't actually perform/fight at the registered/official weight 30hrs before the fight..
this is just to show up to (register) make the fight official.
the true/important/real weight of a fighter is there optimum performing weight, as the fighter has to be at his best when stepping in the ring.
I understand that the registered/official weight is what the general boxing community like to focus on, but intellects of the boxing community look at the fight night weight (optimum performing weight).
This is what trainers and advisers look at when they are matching up there fighters next opponent.Comment

annnndd the mayweather talks stopRoach said that though a “Mosley fight is probably the most exciting because they both like to fight,” it's all about making the fight on even terms.
“I have to protect my fighter,” said Roach, who administered the terms for Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya last year. “I spoke to Shane and told him that we would fight him at 142. He said he can’t make that weight.”
Mosley asked why not 147, as Manny/Oscar was set at 147? Roach said that Mosley is not De La Hoya in terms of setting a weight handicap.
...
The fight Roach likes is Many/Mosley, if the Pomona fighter can make the weight. The world can only wait to see what transpires. Another match that could have consequences also takes place in June when Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey fight. If the Puerto Rican slugger wins, he would be asked to drop to 140 to fight Pacquiao.
