he will be fighting near-identical (style-wise) to Roy Jones Jr. Hopefully his reflexes get to the point where he can be as effective (edit: as effective, style-wise.).
By the time Andre Ward hits his prime, if all goes well

hey, everyone that posted in this thread, I said STYLE-WISE, not skill-wise, not impact-wise, not power-wise. The way he fights, by the time he hits his prime, I think he'll be using a very similar fighting style compared to RJJ. Calm down everyone, I never said he'd be another RJJ, or do the things RJJ did. If he can think well enough to use his reflexes, I think that if he does fully develop that style, it can be very effective.Comment

He's always been referred to as the next RJJ since day one, and I think that's just a huge gap to fill and it was never fair to Ward. I don't know why the tendency is to name any quick-handed black super middle --> light heavy the next RJJ. They're doing the same thing with Dawson and it's ridiculous.
And I'm not accusing you of doing any of this, GodzHand, I'm talking about the boxing community in general. He will have a style like RJJ, but the best thing for Ward to do at this point in his career would be to act like he never heard of Roy Jones Jr.Comment
