That would have been a hell of a fight! But SSM always had a problem with master technicians and fighters he could not tee off on at will. I think it would have been close though. PBF may have been put on his azz a few times and forced to trade late to pull a squeeker out of his azz. Another mega bout dlh ruined! Good riddens to that punk. It wont be as exciting in the future when they face. SSM will chase PBF around the ring while walking into singles and getting countered off the ropes whenever PBF decides to rest. cotto out jabbed him so we know what PBF will do. SSM is a sucker for a jab. And he needs to be set for that powerful 2 & 3!

Prime Mosley vs Mayweather at 135 who wins ? At first i thought Mayweather would win this clearly, but having said that Mosley was a strong,quick,powerful,durable fighter in his prime. Im thinking if Castillo the slower,less durable,less power,footwork could have success putting that kind of pressure on him, then the quicker Mosley who would place his shots better than Castillo would make this a tough tough fight for Mayweather. You gotta remember how strong Mosley is to. Have there been many LW stronger than Mosley since Duran?

Ive seen Mayweather deal with B + class fighters, he has never beaten a guy like Mosley in his prime so i can deffo see Mosley giving him hell. Its not the white wash i thought.

I know Whitaker can avoid the bullet against relentless elite fighters like Azumah Nelson,JCC. I dont think Jesus Chavez falls into that catergory, and when you see Castillo giving him trouble who is better than Chavez, but not JCC,Nelson,Mosley it makes you think............hmm.

great great fight, but floyd's defense pays off. at this time, defense was prefered over activity.

if we could bring those fighters back to the future, I'd say mosley wins just on pure aggression.

floyd schools his ass and beats him by a wide, very wide ud...you ****ers crack me up, i'm telling you...at 135, shane was still robotic and although his ko ratio was staggering, boxers still gave him problems...floyd, especially at 130 and 135, was in the best shape of his career, and his skillset trumped shane's by a wide margin..shane was athletic, floyd was just a master in that ring...castillo fought floyd with an injury and still lost the fight...this is the floyd who fought n'dou in the pocket and made him look silly...shane is the greater fighter when it comes to n'dou, he is not a good pocket fighter, floyd is a matser in the pocket fighter...shane fights stiff, and that is good against fighters who also fight stiff, and shane closes his eyes when he throws a lot of his combos and he has always done this...fighting floyd, shane is in over his head...he could never beat floyd...actually, i was hoping this fight could have been made there...this was shane's best weight-class, and actually, believe it or not, floyd's worst as far as fights go...he struggled with castillo, and still won...shane made too many mistakes at 135, but his athleticism and raw power and speed made up for it. floyd had everything when it came to master boxing, master craft...he would **** on shane, by wide ud...guarantee you...still would now...shane still fights stiff...and shane still closes his eyes when he throws punches...i never understood why he did that, but oh well...shane has tried to fight like floyd in his past fights, not the other way around...jab to the body anyone? floyd didn't originate the punch, but he used it more than anyone in boxing and shane copied it...they are from the same era people...shane has tried to mimic floyd in his fights...

again, duran would not beat floyd...period...floyd is too crafty...he ain't srl, he won't get suckered in to brawls...floyd is a master technician...much more than srl, and duran would be schooled by him...trust when i tell you...
