WTF are you guys on???? Ward looked good last night

I was shocked to come here and see all the hate for Andre Ward. Yeah Miranda sucks, but he remains a threat for anyone on the average level. Ward is ABOVE average. Sure he didn't knock Miranda out or even down for that matter. Get this guys, Ward is not a puncher like those monsters Abraham and Pavlik. Ward remainds me record-wise of Floyd Jr. Money May decisioned some opponents only for Cotto to get them later and he would knock them out. Bottom line is Cotto isn't a better fighter because of that than Mayweather Jr. Victoria Sosa was decisioned by Mayweather only to get blasted out the water by Cotto, same with Demarcus Corley, he was decisioned by Floyd Jr. only for 2 fights later get stopped by Cotto. Hope you get my point, all that comparison between common opponents is nothing. Getting back to Ward, he showed good heart, chin, determination, physical strenght, ring IQ. Honestly I was impressed and became a fan of Ward last night.

Ward won a fight I thought he'd lose by KO. Props for that. But the way he did it bored me pretty much to sleep and sapped the enthusiasm outta my Saturday nite.

The loss by Pavlik took out his heart and confidence in himself.

I thought he did good for himself. I don't understand why he beat himself up during the post fight interview. He got past a keeper and that is a huge step. Ward is only going to improve and he has a lot of tools. It's about time we get a decent Olympian with some potential. I wont sleep on Ward. He might not be the greatest but he can get the job done. I guess time will tell but I think this kid will go far and he showed a lot of heart in there last night. I honestly thought I would see a lot more running out of him last night but he showed good overall ring generalship.

It would be interesting to see where Edison Miranda goes from here. He BOLDLY predicted a 10th round KO which ended up in unanimous EMBARASSMENT!!!

              Peace.

Ward quite impressed me. I appreciated his humility during the post-fight interview, too. This was never an easy fight to predict so I didn't bother betting on it, but I thought a Miranda KO was a slightly higher possibility than a Ward UD, but it looks like Edison has nothing left. He looked so slow and predictable. Is he done? I think so.

It was a decent test for Ward but not as good a test as I thought it would be. Still, Ward is promising and I can see him giving some of the top 168lb'ers some trouble.

I think Ward did a great job last night, good offense, good defense, he put on a show for real. Didn't do that much in the last two rounds or so, but why take the risk if you have won the entire fight, I love Andre Wards style and I look for him to do big things the rest of the year. Please whup that fool Carl the crotch Froch
