Because Mayweather is still avoiding people in his own weight class while Mosley and Cotto have fought just about everyone there. He came out of cotto-induced retirement to fight Pac.

Mosley has said he wants to fight Pacquiao and even talked to Freiddie Roach about getting a fight with him, Roach wants him to come down to 142-143 but Mosley cant do that. Mosley also said that if pacquiao came up to 147 to fight De La Hoya why cant he do it for Mosley. Cotto and pacquiao is a bout that is having serioius talks about being his next one so both of them do want to fight him and are trying to make it happen.

In all truth...I think it is because he has ducked, or many think he has ducked, a lot of good opponents, and takes fights he knows he can win. Cotto and Mosley have been known to fight anyone.

If he dosnt feel he can compete with the top guys at this weight then he needs to stop calling himself a WW and drop down!
