Would Mosley be one of the best ever if he had a power jab?

I think if he had a quartey of a jab along with his other tools, he would have been very difficult to beat. I think then he would be able to beat floyd/pacman or at least give them a serious shot at beating them. Your thoughts?

Nah, Shane has always had trouble with good boxers i dont see him being rated all that higher.

He's a legend though but he dont break the top 30.

only weakness Shane has was lack of jab. Ive mentioned several times today. He is just like Ricky in the fact that he leads with wide punches and is open up the middle. If he had a jab he could work his way in then set up his offense. Also I think a lot of Shane's combos were more flash than substances meaning he was throwing punches that looked good but lacked a lot of strategy. I might break that down tomorrow because that's a flaw I have yet to see a Mosely opponent exploit.

Mosley has an excellent power jab. he just rarely uses it.

I think he would have been better, but he style is still very wild and he allows himself to be countered easily by pure boxers.

I've always said that Mosley has a jab, it's not a great one but he does have one. Mosley's main problem is his lack of adaptability, more than once he has shown that he cannot adapt when plan A fails to work.
