    Thoughts on Sexton v Rogan

i thought this was a really good fight tbh, i was actually swinging and willing punches myself in the 8th round. i think rogan got badly caught up in the great old british tradition that its better to lose fairly than to win unjustly in the 8th he should of went to town on sexton. anyway what a fight!

Most shameful bit of reffing I've ever seen, but yeah, very decent fight, especially for HW these days.

rogan said that after the fight but i never really seen it tbh. defiantly needs a rematch considering the fight got stopped on a swollen eye and what happened in the 8th

That referee Parris was a disgrace. Rogan should have had a TKO win in the 8th.

Sexton's jab and movement gave him a bit of trouble, but the guy was definitely finished in the 8th and how many times can you be held up by the ropes (once laying face first on them,) and not call a knockdown? Plus I never saw a good replay of the time Rogan actually put him on the canvas.

Anyway, Martin looked pretty good and at times really bad in this one. He's pretty small and when he gets frustrated and stops the head movement or keeping his hands up and just starts swinging wildly, he's going to get hurt badly by a big hitter. Sucks to see his momentum shut down esp at 38 though when he might've made a bigger splash.
