I Like What I Here: Toney/Hopkins At Cruiser!

JAMEST TONEY TO BERNARD HOPKINS: MEET ME AT CRUISERWEIGHT!
    By G. Le

Future Hall of Famer James "Lights-Out' Toney reached out to **********.com to inform the boxing world that he is very interested in facing Bernard Hopkins at 200 pounds. "This punk was supposed to fight me at cruiserweight years ago and he ran out on me. You know all about it G, because you wrote about it for weeks. Cruiserweight is 200 pounds now, if he wants big fights against fellow legends, here I am, don't back out like a sissy. Step up to the plate and get knocked out!" Remember where you heard it first

    Yes here http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=271878.

lol, but I don't think Hopkins should waste his time with Toney. On the other hand, he can't even get an opponent.

Would of been much better 6 years ago, when Toney was actually a cruserweight and both were more in there prime especailly Toney, who I would be very shocked if he could even make cruiserweight at this stage of his career, I find it a rather pointless fight now.

They even made the front of the Ring Magazine, here it is

Toney can make 200. most of that excess wait is just fat.

IMO, Toney would be better at 200 because he would actually have to workout his lazy ass and he would have 30 less pounds of fat. I think at 200 he wouldn't be drained.

i dont think hed be drained... he has fat ... its when you dont have any fat and have to cut 20 lbs... thats when you're drained. Because the only way to make the weight is dehydrate your body of water, which shrinks everything and just makes you weaker. When you actually have fat, you can burn fat while staying hydrated, healthy and in shape.
