He just likes boring fighters who clinch their ways to victory.

Ward was also sticking his head out their too, it wasn't just Miranda. Learn to press the mute button on your remote, and stop listening to the **** sucking ******ed showtime announcers. Both fighters had their necks out and head sticking way out, I'm surprised neither threw more uppercuts since both leaned their heads out so far.

He surprised me at how engaging he was, especially in the first half of the fight, and he showed some good angles, and movement, but he could have done more against Miranda....

Miranda was basically just following him around the ring, I can count on one hand the # of left hands Miranda threw, his rights were telegraphed to the extent that I could have dodged them, and Miranda doesnt know how to shorten up his punches.....

Ward did what he had to do, I just think he could have done more.

I actaully watched the fight I think you may have ****ed with the contrast when you were muting it. I like Miranda but there were a couple obvious butts too. I just cant fault Ward for fighting dirty when hes fighting a dirty fighter. If you cant seriously punch its hard to look good against Miranda. Im not a hater or fanboy I watch each fight objectively.

I've definitely seen more exciting fights, but I liked what Ward did. Except I thought the holding was excessive, but it frustrated the hell out of Miranda along with everthing else he was doing. Ward switched stances, fought on the inside for awhile to smother Miranda's punches, let him chase him around the ring and lead him into punches and made Miranda look bad.

Again it wasn't really exciting, but effective. He knew he could outbox Miranda and also knew Miranda's only chance was landing that right hand. He could have gone for more, but Miranda is a big puncher and he could have paid the price being overly agressive and ruined chances at bigger fights. Which now he'll more likely get. Ward seems like a guy that has it together and a smart fighter and in future fights we could see him possibly do more. He makes the SMW division that more interesting.

the only reason i was really impressed was because of his skill level.

the guy was switching stances every 30 seconds, he was fighting on the inside, and outside.

he was smothering, blocking, countering, it was amazing.

i think he'll be a tough fight for any of the top SMW.
