At lightweight Duran's speed was very good. Stamina/workrate? This guy went 15 rounds toe 2 toe with srl & hagler :s. I'll give pac a close edge in speed and an edge in footwork, but everything else it's duran. better chin, better power, better boxing skills.

I can agree that some fighters in the past may be overrated, but roberto duran???? no chance dude, the hungry 135lb version of duran is the best lightweight to ever fight, period. he had a mental edge to him i've never seen since.

who picked pacquiao by KO? the only dudes to legitemately stop duran were tommy hearns (possibly p4p hardest hitter ever) and william joppy

the hearns loss was at 154, and duran was several years and pounds past his best

in the joppy stoppage loss duran was a complete shell of himself as a 47 year old middleweight, plus duran stayed on his feet, he was just taking too many shots

so no way in hell does manny ko, or even hurt duran
