    Rome, Italy - Giacobbe Fragomeni (26-1-1) retained his WBC cruiserweight title by battling to a draw with Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (41-2-1). Judge Richard James Davies scored the bout 116-112 for Fragomeni, Robin Dolpierre had it 114-113 for Wlodarczyk, and Esa Lehtosaari scored it a 114-114 draw. [details]

    The referee not counting the second knockdown and giving Fragomeni time to recover was the difference in the fight, as well as his protecting Fragomeni by yelling at Wlodarzcyk and sometimes stopping th action every time he had good momentum going.

      The referee was not as bad as you're making him out to be. Couple things he should have done differently, but atleast he didn't call a timeout to tie his shoes or delay a count by yelling get in that corner. Fragomeni landed the harder clean punches, Wlod lost the momentum in the end and gave away the fight.

        K.W. was cheated, Fragomeni looked like he was going to be KO'd if the ref didn't take away the Knockdown and give him time to recover
