How did I know Kelly Pavlik is the most hated one on the list? He loses to the only guy in most P4P lists ABOVE 147, when Pavlik went up in weight to fight him, and people call Kelly ****. Kelly lost, over his weight, on an off night, to an ATG. But Paul Williams gets schooled by Carlos Quintana, of all people, in their first fight(Don't remind me what happened in the 2nd fight, I saw, and it doesn't take away the off night he had)and barely anyone notices or has a bad word to say. If you're gonna hold Kelly to that standard of one loss and your out(even though Kelly was at a weight he'd never fought at against a guy every fighter in the world besides Roy Jones in his Heyday has looked like **** against, including Calzaghe) then hold Paul to the same standard. He beat Margarito, a guy who never belonged in P4P, Phillips(nuff said) Andy Kolle(Ugh), and Winky... In fact the Winky fight got him on here some how, cuz I don't see why else you make a case for him. As if fighting an over the hill JMW who hadn't fought in 2 yrs. is the accomplishment of a lifetime. The **** that goes on around this forum is terrible. Hold these fighters to the same damn standards, thats all. If Paul is up, so is Kelly. Otherwise, they both are off the Top 10. Anyone who has Kelly below the top 20 though is just a hater, at best.

I like this list, I think it is the most accurate lb for lb list out there. I would rank Israel at 9 though and put vic darchinyan in place of Pavlik at 10.
The new lb for lb lists reflect that boxing is not dying but is becoming more diversified. The list has 2 mexicans, 2 puerto ricans, 3 african Americans , 2 Filipinos, and 1 White American.

Hopefully he wins, it'll be good for the sport and we'll prob get to see Cotto/Mosley rematch. A Clottey win don't mean much for the WW division because he's not very attractive(fanbase/ppvs), I think Clottey pulls it off though.

he is a top welterweight so it mean something to beat him
