Mosley is a BAD style for him, seriously. Mayweather would not be able to deal with the angles Mosley would throw at him. Mosley is much stronger, hits a lot harder, isn't quite as fast but is faster than Mayweather is used to competing against, and has a solid chin.

It's not the speed as much as it is the angles, he throws punches from so many angles it's hard to make them all miss. He's the kind of fighter that if you don't love boxing, as Mayweather has said, you don't want him in the other corner.

Man, that interview that Merchant had with Mosley gets way too much play around here when discussing that potential fight. I'll bet Oscar Dela Hoya had something to do with that because he wanted first dibs on Floyd. However, after that bull**** sparring session with Fishnets Mosley went on to dominate Collazo and made it clear that he was ready to fight Floyd, but no Mr. Boat Buyer has to go drag up a brit with no defense to 147. And to my knowledge, Mosley called out Mayweather like crazy after he obliterated Margarito. Now What's Floyd doing? Draggin a practically career featherweight in JMM up to welterweight. Do I sense a pattern here?

I have to disagree with u a bit. SSM is not the type of fighter that uses angles. His goal is to out hustle and bomb his opponent out. This one reason why I think he would lose to PBF. If you don't come to him then he has no answer. His jab is laughable but that 2 and 3 is nothing to laugh about. I see PBF winning by a suspenseful UD!

Sugar is with goldenboy promotions they could have worked something out. This would be a huge fight, as big as Marquez if not bigger. So he can't say Mosley brings no money, its a fairer fight that people wanna see. All reasons point to him not wanting any part of mosley and wants to take an easier fight.
