Manny fought at 147 before, if Oscar wasn't weight drained or it wasn't his age then he should be able to beat Cotto at 147

I think at the catch weight we see Cotto bringing out his old dance number...

      147 or nada.

I don't understand this catch weight garbage...Trying to get the upper hand on your opponent at the negotiating table is BS and cowardly IMO...

You want to be the best fighter of our generation??? Well that's not going to happen if you only fight weight drained and flat opponents on purpose...

Train hard and beat Cotto at the weight he fights at...IF YOU CAN. If not leave the WW alone and fight smaller guys.

Don't try to beat fighters on the scales...

OK, but Cotto is willing to drop to 144. So the catch weight garbage is not there for you to understand since your fighter is not even concerned with the issue.

Cotto understands that he is the bigger man, so he's willing to drop a couple pounds to make the matchup a bit more fair. Props to Cotto.
