Isnt Arum Taking A Huge Risk Hyping The Cotto Fight?

He is talking way way way too much about the Pac-Cotto fight. Alot of people think its just a negotiating ploy but isnt that super risky? Its super risky even if it isnt. Cotto has already made his displeasure with Top Rank be known and now Arum is hyping a Pac fight but what if Pac does end up going with Floyd? Cotto will want to kill Arum. I think Cotto see's Pac as a easy win where he could get his biggest pay day and become a Mainstream star. No way Cotto will be happy if Arum then tries to convince him to go fight a tough guy like Mosley for half the money in a fight that the mainstream wont care much about. I cant beleive Arum is talking like this. Its ok to have those thoughts but dont make it public.

I could see Floyd getting the Pac fight and seceretly telling Mosley that he will definatly fight him next and then Mosley decides not to even fight Cotto because he wants to make sure he stays unbeaten so he can get the big money Floyd fight. How dumb would Arum be if he did make Pac-Cotto right now and Cotto knocked him the **** out? No one in the mainstream wiill care about Pac again no matter what the size was and Cotto doesnt have any chance to have nearly the star power that Pac did. I think Arum is starting to get scared that Floyd could actually beat Pac and someone like Mosley or Williams could actually beat Cotto. Then his 4 top guys in Margarito, Clottey, Pac, and Cotto will have lost all in a row. Thats why I think he's trying to squeeze this Cotto-Pac fight in because he'll get all the money and it guarantees him that 1 guy will still be on top for awhile. That way no matter what he wont come out on the short end of the stick. Seriously though, Cotto is going to be pissed now if he doesnt get the Pac fight. He's not going to want to fight anyone else after you had that fight in his face

Arum is giving up on Cotto. Cotto's people don't support him, no one knows if he'll even be able to get past Clottey, and now people actually consider Pac a challenge for him. Margarito really sonned him hard. Overall, Arum is just putting all of his eggs in the Pacman basket and riding with that. He wants to reach way over a million with the Mayweather-Pac PPV, but he also wants to get as much money for himself and Manny (notice how I wrote "himself" first). Hopefully he stays inside the boundaries because Floyd doesn't waste his time with tomfoolery.

Pac is going to the Clottey fight but thats just because he's the man right now and they want to show him off like everyone is a possibility. Well I totally disagree because there is no way in the world that Floyd would just fight JMM, Pac, and then retire. I dont know about Cotto but I think everyone pretty much thinks that he would fight Mosley. I also think he would fight Berto if he got good by that time but I definatly see him fighting Mosley after Pac as long as Mosley hasnt lost by then. Plus, you say that its best for the sport to have 3 or 4 mega fights but not by far the biggest one out of all of them? I dont mind how you started with Cotto-Pac and Mosley-Floyd because alot of people feel that way.
