He beat a 43 year old Hopkins. Don't you find it amusing that it took Calzaghe upto the point of his LAST TWO bouts to leave the UK to face someone ?

As for RJJ, dude... You do know RJJ was a good win... BEFORE he was KO'd TWICE by Tarver and Johnson FOUR/FIVE years before they faced each other?
      (Whom Hopkins both beat)

Aye, Calzaghe sure was at the prime of his career at the end there.

In fairness, all those fights proved was that a past prime Calzaghe was better than a past prime Hopkins and past prime Jones. A damn shame none of those fights happened when all were in their prime.

hopkins was 43 when he fought calzaghe. seems like a big difference then being 35. lets see if calzaghe will be able to fight the middle, super middle, and light heavy champs when hes 43. i highly doubt it since he refused to fight everyone when he was in his prime.

age has nothing to do with it. Hopkins takes care of his body and it's rare for someone to do what he's doing. You're overating someone because of AGE. Who has he beaten in his prime besides Tito, an overblown middleweight? the dude became a veggie to beat on smaller opponents. late in his carrer he realized he had nothing ot his resume so he cherry picked smaller oppoents with big names....

              dudes a fraud.

if you take care of your body but your 60 you are still 60 years old you can't change that. since you are implying anyone who takes care of their body can fight forever like a damn idiot.

look at calzaghe's resume. jones jr, hopkins, and eubank all blown up middleweights! and 2 of those guys were shot lol! FRAUD

Lost very close fights with Slappy, RJJ, and Taylor, some believe he won the Slappy and Taylor fights. Defended the middleweight belt 20 times. Has other good wins over Allen, Joppy, Echols. Held the 4 major belts at 160 at once. Has been #1 at 160 and 175. Has been rumored at one final go around at CW or HW in search of a third division of dominance.

Let's all bow to the great Bernard Hopkins. HOF, ATG.
I say no way he could go that far. His best wins are from WW. Delahoya, Trinidad, Winky (Jr.MW),He beat Pavlik not in his best weight (MW), He lost his important fights Jones Jr, Taylor and Calzaghe. He defended his belt 20 times against bums. Sorry dude i say B-HOP top 35-40 ATG in the end of the day if his lucky. It's very hard to become an ATG fighter these days to be honest with you.
